Customer Warranty and Return Policy

Introduction

At EMR Computers & Accessories, we take pride in the quality and level of customer service we provide. EMR Computers & Accessories relies heavily on repeat and referred business. It is a key element of our success in a very competitive business. The company and staff take pride in both the quality of the work and product we sell. We strive to give our customers the best balance in both quality and price when providing product solutions. When we assemble new computers or upgrade a customer's existing computer, we test the system thoroughly. We use diagnostic programs to test components, and provide a burn in process which reduces the likelihood of product failure. Our quality-assurance process requires a minimum of two individuals to complete a computer assembly, one inspecting the work of the other. This process has proven itself by reducing the need for after-sales service and/or technical support. From time to time, new equipment will fail and will require repair or replacement, or some other problem will occur which requires examination. We do our best to respond quickly to replace or repair defective equipment or workmanship. We have noted that the majority of products returned for warranty service are either software-related or the product has been physically mishandled in some manner. We feel that our product return and warranty policies are comparable to, or exceed industry standards.

Warranty in General

If you are unsatisfied with your hardware purchase EMR Computers & Accessories will accept your return up to 7 days after original purchase under the following terms. Merchandise will be clean, undamaged and in its original packaging with all documents, accessories, and original invoice. All full system returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee on total purchase price or 1 ½ hours labour (whichever is greater). All other purchases (except special orders) are subject to a 15% restocking fee on total purchase price. Special orders are subject to a 30% restocking fee on total purchase price. All restocking fees are non-refundable. No returns on Windows Operating systems or any other software under any circumstances.

EMR Computers & Accessories provides limited technical support on assembled computers purchased from EMR Computers & Accessories. Computer problems related to software (example: incorrect Windows setup/Virus/etc.) are not covered under EMR Computers & Accessories warranty and are subject to labour costs. Invoice is required for ALL WARRANTY work. OEM products are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty only.

There is no refund or exchange on Printers, Memory Products, Monitors, CPUs and/or Software. Customers experiencing problems with any of these products should consult with the manufacturer. Keyboards and Mice carry a conditional 7 day warranty with EMR Computers & Accessories. ALL SALES FINAL on used components. EMR Computers & Accessories does not warranty Power Supply Units or Cases under any circumstances. EMR Computers & Accessories is not liable for any damage caused to customer’s equipment from power surges or brownouts under any circumstances.
